To provide software corrective content, including software patch propagations for the carrier market leading VoIP product lines.
• Propagating corrective content into the prescribed software release streams in the form of patch update and associated tar file.
• Creation and delivery of software patches based on the CVAS software bug fixes available in the main software stream.
• Participation in and support of Code and Patch Inspection with North American team.
• 24/7 support to the Ottawa team via dedicated cell phone.
- C/C++, Perl scripting.
- Knowledge on Unix and Unix shell programming.
- Telecom/Networking background is a plus.
- Familiarity with Nortel tools and processes (PLS, Protel, PACS, XPATS, IDCE, Clear Quality, Clearcase, VSOS, PESM) is a plus.
