Job Description

The role of General Director will have overall Profit & Loss responsibility for company business, reporting to the CEO. As such, he/she will define long-term goals and strategies, ensuring plans are in place to deliver annual budgets and progress toward goals. The General Director will also be a key contributor to the development and delivery of the company’s goals and strategies. Additionally, this manager will provide insightful leadership by encouraging others to discover, develop and apply their talents enabling them to reach their full potential. Some duties include:

  • Oversee and improve manufacturing operations, establishing and driving production goals and developing organisational structures.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standard operating procedures, providing resources and training.
  • Oversee employee hiring, training, development, and management, providing guidance to leadership teams.
  • Develop performance and efficiency metrics, identifying areas for improvement and reporting results to executive leadership.
  • Manage finances, monitoring budgets, expenses, and product unit costs to drive revenue and margin projections.

Job Requirement

  • Excellent work ethic and leadership skills
  • Superior written and oral communication skill in Vietnamese and English.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and positively, inspiring confidence and trust, while demonstrating a capacity for listening and absorbing different points of view.
  • Effectively collaborates across a diverse set of team members and stakeholders.
  • Able to collect, analyse, synthesize and interpret data to determine strategies and plans.
  • Strong understanding of financial and operational metrics and disciplined business processes with the demonstrated ability to utilise these metrics to aid in planning/decision-making.
  • Knowledge of global business practices, finance, negotiating and change management.
