Job Description

Our clients are leading in the award-winning advertising industry, making brands important, creating experiences, designs and communications.

We are looking for [1] potential candidate for Strategic Planning Director position with below details:

  • Responsible for the successful articulation and sale of the strategic plan for our clients’ brands.
  • Responsible for ensuring the effectiveness of creative work
  • Responsible for the development of the broader strategic capabilities of the entire agency
  • Responsible for the career and skill development of all those in the planning department. Hiring, setting goals, assessing performance, coaching, retention, and recruitment etc.
  • All of the above come together most intensively in a pitch situation, which is often won or lost because of the strategy. The Strategic Planning Director is often the lead during the first part of the pitch development process and will play a key role during any pitch presentation.

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field is required
  • A minimum of 7 years of work experience is required, in an Agency or Non-Profit environment is strongly preferred;
  • Strong command of most forms of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies and working knowledge of when and how to apply them to a given client challenge
  • Ability to work directly with clients and develop relationships accordingly on behalf of the agency
  • Strong leadership and good presentation skill
  • Demonstrated talent for abstract thinking, spotting trends and patterns, an innate curiosity and insight into human behavior, an instinct for popular culture, and a nuanced understanding of creative work are critical
  • The ability to work across different groups and disciplines is key to their success, as is their judgment in pushing the work, elevating the ambition of a brand, and leading the client’s thinking about the potential of their business
