Job Description

As an Estimator, you will be responsible for reviewing construction plans and project requirements to calculate accurate material quantities and costs for residential and commercial projects in the U.S. You will use specialized software to create takeoffs, BOMs, and bid documents, helping our team deliver precise and competitive project estimates. This role requires strong attention to detail, good communication, and the ability to work with international teams to meet deadlines and quality standards.

Review tasks

  • Check customer requirements on Outlook and DMS.
  • Read, interpret, and fully understand scope of work and specifications for each project.

Planning & Task Management

  • Plan, organize, and control assigned tasks to meet deadlines and quality standards.
  • Use Bluebeam, PlanSwift, PDF Xchange Editor, and other specific software to perform takeoffs accurately.
  • Generate BOMs, bidding documents, and marked-up plans with high accuracy.
  • Ensure all quantity takeoffs and drawings are precise, complete, and buildable.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain all project files and work history on the company server in an organized manner.
  • Apply technical knowledge and ensure compliance with relevant standards, rules, and guidelines.
  • Provide regular updates to Leader/Manager regarding task status, including timelines and quality expectations.

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Lumber/Full-house takeoff or Millwork (cabinet) estimating.
  • 3-6 years of relevant experience in estimating various building components (drywall, painting, framing, millwork/cabinetry) for U.S. projects.

Tools & Software:

  • Proficiency in Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Innergy, Microvellum, STACK, SketchUp, or similar software.
  • Strong skills in Excel.

Professional Competencies:

  • Proficiency in English (Cert.Level: B2 or IELTS 5.5-6.5)
  • Capability to work with cross-functional teams across time zones (offshore estimating teams, international builders).
  • Proactive in learning and developing skills aligned with company needs.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills for smooth collaboration.
  • Maintains confidentiality, professionalism, and integrity in daily practices
