Job Description
- Issue purchase orders to factories/suppliers and confirm pricing, delivery timelines, and order terms.
- Follow up and manage orders from PO issuance until goods are shipped successfully.
- Coordinate closely with suppliers and internal departments to ensure accurate and timely product information updates.
- Work with the Production team to ensure materials and products are delivered according to production schedules.
- Monitor shipment and delivery status to ensure on-time fulfillment.
- Identify and report critical issues related to orders, production, or delivery delays to relevant teams and management promptly.
- Conduct costing analysis and manage product costs to maintain company profit targets.
- Resolve supplier-related issues, including quality, delivery, and pricing concerns.
- Maintain strong relationships with factories and suppliers to support smooth purchasing operations.
Job Requirement
Qualifications & Knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Business Administration, Supply Chain, International Trade, or related fields.
- Knowledge of purchasing procedures, supplier management, and production costing.
- Understanding of indoor and outdoor furniture products is an advantage.
- Familiarity with shipping, logistics, and import/export processes.
Experience
- At least 3 years of experience in Purchasing, Sourcing, or Merchandise roles.
Skills & Competencies
- Good command of spoken and written English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Good time management and organizational abilities.
