Job Description
A global leader in packaging solutions is seeking QA/QC MANAGER with details:
- To ensure that all personnel within the department adhere to the Work Procedures and Instructions, and that these are updated as necessary.
- To ensure that quality standards are maintained.
- To ensure that departmental targets are met, implementing any changes necessary to achieve the required quality and meet set targets.
- Monitor and control operating costs within your department.
- Provide weekly and monthly reports that highlight:
- All customer complaints Scrap by department Personnel issues
- Any failure of management to deal with production department quality issues.
- Ensure the General Director is kept informed on all key issues.
- To manage the personnel within the department with respect to:
- Appraisals
- Personal productivity Absence control
- Discipline
- Recruitment
- Developing the appropriate skills to achieve production objectives.
- Lead troubleshooting teams to solve significant quality concerns.
- Ensure that each department and department manager are fully aware of the latest situation with regards customer complaints, production scrap and CA-PA (Corrective & preventive action report)
- Ensure that all customer complaints are answered in a quick and professional manner
Job Requirement
- At least 5 years of experience as a QA/QC Manager in the packaging manufacturing industry.
- Possess certifications such as Sedex (SMETA), ISO 9001:2015, and FSC; specialization in BRC – Packaging V6 is a plus.
- Experience working directly with auditors to obtain certifications.
- Good health, capable of handling work pressure, and free from chronic diseases.
- Ethical, honest, meticulous, calm, decisive, and capable of leading a team.
- Dynamic, sociable, with strong communication skills and a high sense of responsibility.
- Holds a Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field (Engineering or similar).
- Expertise in Quality, Production, or Technical management.
