Job Description
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in the medical devices sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical device sales, a deep understanding of the healthcare industry, and the ability to drive business growth through strategic planning and effective team management.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to meet and exceed company sales targets.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Provide training, coaching, and development opportunities to enhance team performance.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, healthcare professionals, and distributors.
- Address client inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Market Expansion:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the medical devices market.
- Expand the company’s presence in existing and new markets through effective networking and relationship-building.
Sales Performance Monitoring:
- Monitor sales performance, analyze sales data, and prepare regular reports for senior management.
- Develop and implement corrective actions to address performance gaps and improve sales results.
Budget Management:
- Prepare and manage the sales department budget.
- Allocate resources effectively to maximize return on investment and achieve sales objectives.
Collaboration and Coordination:
- Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, product development, and supply chain, to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall company goals.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns that support sales initiatives.
Job Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management within the medical devices or healthcare industry.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of the medical devices market and healthcare practices.
- Ability to analyze market data and develop strategic plans.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
