Job Description

  • Responsible for creating and maintaining sales for the Medicine Sales Team in HCMC and South Vietnam. (With future plans for expansion into the Hanoi area)
  • Manages the sales team’s operational performance including promotional activity, administration, reporting, business planning, coverage and expense controls through meeting agreed targets for all members of the team.
  • Reports to senior management on business progress and opportunities.
  • Manages the sales team in developing the organization’s presence and creating an environment where customer service can flourish. Will be responsible for KOL management.
  • Assists in the development of the annual marketing plan, specifically advising on the forecast for each product and territory (based on historical data, market trends, competitor activity, promotional strategy and sales effort), operating costs and sales promotion plans.
  • Ensures that all sales representative activities are in accordance with the guidelines and regulations of company. Direct individual and set territory sales and commission targets.
  • Responsible  for  the  recruitment, direction  and  initial  training  of  new  sales representatives.
  • Responsible for monitoring the performance of the sales team. Plan and implement personal appraisals. Support and provide ongoing training to ensure representatives have sufficient therapy and product knowledge. Develop individual selling skills through coaching field visits and continual assessment while maintaining high levels of motivation.

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor or above degree or equivalent (Pharmaceutical or Medical background is a plus)
  • At least 3 years of experience in the role of Sales Pharmaceutical/Medical Manager in Hospital market
  • Strong leadership, teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Willing to take on challenges with an ability to work under pressure
  • Self-motivated, fast learner and strong passion in business
  • Customer-oriented with strong communication, organization and problem solving skills
  • Good personal presentation
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English, Vietnamese and computer skill (a must)
