Job Description

  • Installation, commissioning and warranty equipment
  • Perform troubleshooting / repair / maintenance Microscopy products
  • Provide Sales Support & Technical Support
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and efficient service support
  • Customer Service / Support as well as issue resolution; ensure open service issues are closed out in a timely manner
  • Maintenance of operation procedures, check lists and other documentation in the field with assistance from Technical Support Manager & Service Leader
  • Provision of Demo Products maintenance to ensure excellent product performance in all demonstrations
  • Provision of Quality Check of instrument prior to delivery when required
  • Provision of technical sales assistance in product configuration selection inclusive of software and hardware recommendations
  • Participation in service training to internal and external customers, such as training of new Technical Support Engineers and Customers etc
  • Report to Technical Support Manager & Service Leader on any product issues experienced such as standard of production, quality, and safety of the product range
  • Liaison work involving spare parts ordering shipment, installation and after sales service which interact be­tween sales, logistics, customers and application specialists etc
  • Provision of follow up support to customers after equipment installation to ensure a smooth completion of the contract
  • To be responsible and to assist the Technical Support Manager in marketing Service Agreements business opportunities
  • Assist in the introduction of new products into the supply programme and ensure of communication of support requirements to supporting functions
  • To take initiative in updating one's own product & technical knowledge by attending training programs organised by the Company and through discussions
  • To actively participate in the internal process and comply to all ISO and other regulatory requirements
  • Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Company

Job Requirement

  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Technical Support
  • Experienced in product knowledge and technical skills
  • Analytical and solution oriented thinking
  • Customer oriented focus
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to travel
