Job Description
- Build, lead and operate a business vertical in a dynamic and highly competitive environment
- Must be equally adept at both strategy and operations
- Build, lead and coach high performing teams
- Passionate about Company’s social mission and making a positive impact in the community
- Work with Country Head to set business targets and allocate budget
- Develop and execute business and operation plans
- Accountable for business vertical targets, budget and P&L
- Collaborate with other leaders (including other Business Vertical Heads, Product, Engineering, Data, User Trust, Legal, Public Affairs, etc) to address issues, identify new opportunities and share best practices.
- Develop win-win partnerships
- Build and maintain government relationships
- Be the spokesperson for the business vertical; This includes attending media events, interviews and fielding both online & offline media questions.
- Customer: 1) Identify and prioritize customer segments for both drivers and passenger ; 2) Develop and execute plan to acquire, engage and retain target customer segments.
- Financial: 1) Accountable for business vertical financial targets, including revenue, cost and profits; 2) Work with Finance team to track actual vs target, analyze and identify opportunities from financial statements.
- People: 1) Build, lead and coach multiple teams, including Sales, Loyalty & Retention and Operations; 2) Build a culture that strongly aligns with Company’s Vision, Mission and Principles; 3) Be a servant leader; Lead by example
Job Requirement
- Prepared and able to provide high-level directions as well as be hands on when the situation calls for it
- Adaptable; Enjoys working in a fast-paced, fast-changing environment
- Strong motivator and collaborator; Able to align large groups of people towards a particular goal
- Proven experience in developing strategies, and translating said strategies into tangible outcomes
- Able to initiate and maintain strong relationships with relevant industry partners, suppliers and contractors
- Excellent leadership, management, problem solving, negotiations, interpersonal, and communications skills
- Minimum 10 years work experience; Minimum 5 years experience in Management Consulting, General Management, Start-Ups, Investment Banking or other similar fast-paced industries
- MBA degree preferred
