Job Description

The Senior Logistics Specialist is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end supply chain operations, including international freight forwarding, customs clearance, warehousing, and domestic distribution. The ideal candidate will optimize logistics costs, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain seamless goods flow to meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Management: Plan and monitor inbound/outbound shipments via Sea, Air, and Land. Coordinate with 3PLs and Forwarders to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Customs & Compliance: Manage import-export documentation (L/C, Invoice, Packing List, C/O). Ensure accurate HS Code classification and compliance with local and international trade laws.
  • Warehouse & Inventory Control: Oversee warehouse operations, conduct periodic stock takes, and optimize inventory levels to minimize holding costs.
  • Cost Optimization: Analyze logistics expenses, negotiate freight rates with service providers, and implement cost-saving initiatives.
  • Vendor Management: Evaluate and manage the performance of logistics partners (KPIs tracking).
  • Problem Solving: Resolve issues regarding shipment delays, damages, or customs bottlenecks effectively.
  • Reporting: Prepare weekly/monthly reports on logistics performance, cost analysis, and supply chain risks.

Job Requirement

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Foreign Economics, or related fields.
  • Experience: 8–15 years of proven experience in Logistics/Import-Export. 
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English (Verbal & Written). Ability to negotiate with international partners and handle English-language legal/trade documents.
