Job Advertisement: Technical Supervisor / Inspector (Coatings & Paint Systems)

Are you a highly skilled and experienced Coatings and Paint Systems professional looking for your next challenge? We are seeking a dedicated Technical Supervisor / Inspector to ensure the highest standards of quality and compliance in our coating applications.

Job Description

As a Technical Supervisor / Inspector, you will be responsible for:

  • Inspection & Quality Control: Performing thorough inspections of surface preparation and coating applications to ensure strict adherence to industry standards (SSPC, ISO, ASTM).
  • Coating System Compliance: Verifying that coating systems are applied correctly according to manufacturer specifications.
  • Surface Preparation Inspection: Assessing surface conditions, including cleanliness, roughness, and environmental factors, prior to coating application.
  • Film Thickness Measurement: Conducting wet and dry film thickness checks to ensure coatings are applied to the correct standards.
  • Adhesion & Performance Testing: Performing adhesion, permeability, and impact tests to evaluate coating performance.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintaining detailed inspection records, issuing non-conformance reports, and recommending corrective actions.
  • Project Coordination: Collaborating closely with contractors, engineers, and clients to ensure coating processes align with project requirements.
  • Safety & Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring adherence to safety regulations and environmental guidelines during coating application.

Job Requirement

  • Certification: Nace 2 / Frosio III or higher.
  • Experience: 3-4 years in a similar role.
  • Age: Over 30 years old.
