Job Description
Our client, a leading global manufacturer of interconnect solutions is expanding its operations in Vietnam with a high-tech facility in Thang Long II Industrial Park, Hung Yen to produce advanced connectors, cables, and optical devices looking for an Engineering Manager with below detail:
Key responsibilities:
- Build, manage and develop Connectivity R&D team
- Drive product development based on customer requirements (VOC), ensure on-time delivery (development & NPI)
- Work with Manufacturing, QA, Automation to improve product quality and process efficiency
- Manage budget, project cost and resource allocation
- Develop and maintain R&D procedures in line with company policies and requirements
- Support global R&D activities
- Other tasks assigned by management
Scope of work:
- New product design & development
- NPI (New Product Introduction)
- Automation implementation
- Product upgrade/extension
- Project management and manufacturing support
Job Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree or above
- At least 8 years in product development/management
- Experience in telecom/connectivity product design
Preferred
- Experience in fiber optic connectivity
- Experience leading engineering team
- Knowledge of GR standards
Skills
- Strong project management
- Able to build and lead team
- Work well in a fast-paced environment
- Good English
- Open for business travel
