Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic and customer-oriented Sales Engineer to join our team in the Food & Beverage (F&B) sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background combined with a deep understanding of the F&B industry. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying sales opportunities, providing technical support, and promoting products and solutions to customers within the food and beverage industry.
Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in the food and beverage sector, including key accounts, distributors, and partners.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and achieve targets in alignment with company goals.
- Manage and grow relationships with new and existing customers, providing tailored solutions to meet their needs.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales agreements with clients, ensuring win-win outcomes for both parties.

Technical Consultation & Support:
- Provide technical expertise and consultation to customers regarding product applications, performance, and benefits.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations, showcasing the technical advantages of products and solutions.
- Offer on-site support and troubleshooting for customers, ensuring the successful implementation and use of products.
- Collaborate with R&D and product teams to ensure customer feedback is integrated into product enhancements and new development.

Market Analysis & Competitor Monitoring:
- Monitor market trends and customer requirements in the food and beverage industry to identify opportunities for growth.
- Keep track of competitor products and activities, providing insights and recommendations for strategic positioning.
- Conduct market research and generate reports on customer needs, competitor products, and industry developments.

Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients through excellent customer service and follow-up.
- Provide ongoing support to customers post-sale, addressing any technical issues or inquiries.
- Serve as the point of contact for customer feedback, ensuring timely resolution of any product or service-related issues.

Sales Reporting & Documentation:
- Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and performance metrics to senior management.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market trends in the company’s CRM system.
- Assist in the preparation of bids, proposals, and presentations to clients.
Job Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Food Science, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales engineering, technical sales, or business development in the Food & Beverage sector.
- Strong technical knowledge of food and beverage equipment, machinery, or technology solutions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Willingness to travel frequently to meet clients and attend industry events.
