What you should perform and excel:
- Customer orientation: You can learn the technical words for talking to a real estate agent or an engineer, and you've got the talent for getting people to talk to you and vice versus. You treat the people we don't end up hiring with respect. You know how to get personal to obtain the unobtainable. You love people and know how to make them love you. You are able to create a trusting relationship with your customers.
- Eye for talents: you don't waste managers' time with hit-or-miss candidates. You listen carefully to what a manager really wants, iterate quickly on failed candidates to identify the winning traits. You pride yourself on quality, not quantity, and you try to make the process efficient for everyone, not just yourself.
- Thoughtful and sensible: you recognize when a job description is off-base, when compensation is below market, or when you're looking for love in all the wrong places, making adjustments quickly rather than banging your head against a wall.
- Sales-person: you really know how to sell a job, picking up on cues that a candidate is worried, connecting the candidate with the right people in the organization, seeing the recruiting process through to the very end.
- Stress resistance: you like challenges, to reach monthly target and know how to manage the stress.
Here's what you'll do:
- Rap with hiring managers: you have to build rapport with hiring managers so you know what they want and they trust your judgment. You will develop a partnership with your clients.
- Screen and organize: we'll need you to pre-screen candidates, assess whether they're in-line with client s requirements, and setup interviews.
- Manage the pipeline: you'll have a lot of candidates to manage, you'll need to be pro-active about keeping things organized, militant about recruitment process, and reliable on follow-through.
Experience: a minimum of 2 years as a recruitment consultant in a firm or corporate recruiting environment, with a history of results & excellent performance. The candidate must be strong in customer care, sales, be able to work under high pressure, willing to learn and driven by challenges.
• References: at least three references from placements you’ve made within the last two-months.
• Smarts: you’ve got a BA degree, can communicate & write well in English and are learning fast new things.
