Job Description
- Leading the Portfolio Participation Strategy & Execution based on local insights and opportunities.
- Turn around the brand participation strategy through solid marketing programs.
- Managing the Portfolio and individual brands within the portfolio, on a day to day basis, with clear accountability for all brand measures and brand compliance
- Developing Growth drivers that are locally relevant, working closely with the Global brand team and SEA marketing Director/Teams.
- Overseeing the Innovation strategy & execution in these markets
- Overseeing execution of Media Plans, including pioneering of digital transformation in the context of a highly regulated marketing environment.
- Building Consumer Marketing Capability in markets and with 3rd Party teams
- Managing A&P Budgets and driving efficiencies
- Liaising with regional and global brand teams to ensure alignment on strategy and execution
- Overseeing M&Es & learning plans for all Marketing activities
Job Requirement
- Proven track record of success in Asia and ideally emerging markets. Preferred experience in Vietnam market and FMCG candidates preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in Brand and Commercial Strategies, working with Senior Management team. Graduate/MBA preferred.
- Preferred discipline consumer marketing experience, especially with mass market FMCG experience or even local spirits/ beer experience, with disciplined rigor in insights generation, understand how to translate insights into action and performance evaluation.
- Ability to see and be excited about white space category opportunities and has the strategic acumen to use brands or innovation to create opportunities.
- Curiosity and flair for finding penetrating insights. Have experience marketing brands to emerging middle class especially in emerging markets across Asia Pacific.
- Have a track record of building brands / local brands targeting at mass SES B, C, D markets in emerging markets.
- Understand the role of digital and outlet / experiential activation to help transform the marketing agenda and drive higher penetration.
- Expert in media planning and understand how to deploy digital.
- Understand the use of data analytics, research and metrics to drive better brand performance and brand growth.
- A good commercial mind and understanding of P&L.
- Can influence and lead cross-functionally within the markets to define and execute the marketing plans.
- Skilled in developing cross functional collaboration and commitment at all stages of the value chain, negotiating for win-win outcomes.
- Has led and build teams of marketers, not first time leadership of teams.
- Build and inspire teams, with clear purpose, accountabilities, performance goals and trust. Coaching Capabilities both in leadership and functionally
- Uses strong understanding of external environment to drive the creation and execution of a clear and powerful Vietnam plan.
- Clarity in the deployment of programs and tools that maximize sustainable profit for the country.
