Job Description

HRVietnam's client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales & Marketing Manager to lead business development and marketing initiatives in the cosmetics trading industry.

This role requires a strong background in both sales and marketing, excellent financial acumen, and the ability to build and maintain effective distributor and retail partnerships, especially in the Modern Trade (MT) channel.

  • Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans to drive brand growth and market expansion.
  • Manage and coordinate marketing campaigns, product launches, promotions, and events.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, market trends, and consumer insights.
  • Prepare and manage marketing budgets; control and balance the P&L to achieve profitability targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, key accounts, and Modern Trade (MT) partners.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective brand communication and visibility.
  • Lead and inspire a team to achieve business goals and ensure alignment with company objectives.

Job Requirement

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales and marketing in the FMCG or beauty & personal care (cosmetics) industry.
  • Solid experience in the cosmetics, personal care, or home care categories is highly preferred.
  • Proven track record in strategic planning, marketing execution, and P&L management.
  • Strong relationships with distributors and experience in managing Modern Trade (MT) channels.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Open-minded, solution-oriented, and not afraid of challenges.
  • Fluent in English; Japanese language skills are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience working in or with Japanese companies is a plus.
